Colonel John F.Newell, 374AW/CC,held Air Force Ball to celebrate the USAF's 61st anniversary at Yokota AB..　JAAGA vice president Ochi, secretariat Minamoto, member Yamaoka and Ishikawa participated in it.　Senior enlisted advisers from JASDF units of Iruma AB and Fuchu AB., and neighbor governors were invited.　Ceremony was started with drums beating, all participants sung national anthem of United States and Japan and Air Force Song, and cake-cutting for USAF 61th anniversary was performed.　Then Col.Newell had celebration speech for 61st anniversary, and General Chandller,PACAF/CC, gave speech as distinguished guest to raise morale of airmen.　After then, 200 participants enjoyed dinner, dancing and talking.　And USAF cadets who was dispatched to Japan National Defense Academy joined to pleasant talk with JAAGA members.　Member Yamaoka is cadet's host family in Japan.　We could very enjoy this ball.
