Lieutenant General and Mrs. Edward A.Rice Jr., Commander of U.S. Forces in Japan and Fifth Air Force, had open-house event at commanders residence in Kenny Court of Yokota AB. on 6 December (Sat.).　Gen. Hokazono (Chief of Staff, ASO), Lt.Gen. Kikukawa (Vice Chief of Staff, ASO) and Directors of Air Staff Office accompanied with spouses participated.　Lt.Gen.and Mrs.Orita (ASC/CC) attended from Fuchu AB..　JAAGA President and Mrs.Toutake and secretariat Matsuda joined.　Also, members of U.S. Embassy in Japan and persons concerned Yokota AB. were invited.　The party was carried out under pleasant atmosphere from beginning to end, we enjoyed conversation with participants very much.　In latter half of party, USAF airmen performed live music, and all attendants sang the music of "It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" which was recommended by Lt.Gen.Rice.　At end of party, Commander Rice said "I hope U.S.-Japan relationship will be more developed and reinforced from now on".　Then party was over.　(Reported by Matsuda)
