Major General Larry D.James, 5AF/VC, will leave from Japan on 15 November to take up commander post of 14th Air Force at Vandenberg AFB., CA.　General will be promoted to Lieutenant General at same day of new assignment.　Since he arrived at post of 5th Air Force vice commander, he has showed warm understanding about JAAGA activities and positively supported us.　On 7 Nov, JAAGA president Toutake, Chairman Hirose and secretariat Bandoh visited for Gen.James at Yokota AB, president Toutake handed JAAGA plaque with words of appreciation on his supporting to JAAGA.　Then Gen.James expressed appreciation that JAAGA has contributed for mutual understanding between U.S. and Japan through JAAGA activities.　President Toutake requested Gen.James for supporting to and cooperating with JAAGA succeedingly, then we left Yokota AB.　At this visiting, we were noticed that Mr.McClan (Adviser to 5AF/CV) will move to Zama Army Camp on 14 Nov. to change of vice commander.（reported by secretariat Bandoh)
