23rd Misawa Special Olympics was carried out by USAF volunteer organization at 949th hanger of Misawa Air Base on 13rd September.　It was fine day on that day.　About 40 athletes, living in nursing home in Rokkasyo Village of Aomori Prefecture near Misawa AB., joined to this Olympics event.　And about 40 Japanese volunteers and around 200 volunteers from USAF supported this Olympics.　After Colonel Stilwell, commander of Misawa Air Base, had opening speech, all participants and supporters took lunch.　Then various games were started.　Athletes concentrated and enjoyed very much. 　Mr.Maruyama, head of Misawa branch, and Mr.Yamamoto, secretary of Misawa branch, participated in the Olympics and handed Col.Stilwell the donation from JAAGA to the organization.
